A THOUSAND MILE A DECADE

Sometimes I tend to want to quit and throw all away but when I look back with all achieved so far which is not by my strength but by his grace, I give thanks than complain and strive more for him to bless my efforts.

No one can tell than few close pals from onset of this decade that this petite started out as an hindi singing artiste on stages with the name IndianGirl...

When many see me among older artistes that recognize me they tend to think otherwise not realizing I have paid my dues being such non challant indiangirl and a child presenter with Kiddies Show Time on LTV in the other decade of my life...lol

From indiangirl to being an Actress and TV presenter of a major fashion show on STV ''Style101'' in early 2000, I have had the experience of an Okada man recognizing me only with my voice and ended up paying more than budgeted, beaus from abroad disturbing my producer to get in touch with me and one even travelled down to Niaja from US and more i can not begin to mention, there and there I knew the power of media and learnt humbleness.

Need I forget Alphabash Theater Act Group, a group I started with a colleague and made impacts on stages as we use performing acts to preach against vital issues affecting our community. Today we celebrate many members of this group in their various industries.

In this same decade, I tend to celebrate my IT and filmmaking experiences, at a period I believed technology will meet media and went on that journey of Digital Media Technology and filmmaking, an hidden agenda was to meet Amtabh Bachan.

With all my journey, I matured more to be that petite that will tend to link people up with opportunities and never choose to meet with them, many I have spoken with that I have never met not because I felt big but at this decade I had had experiences that gave me phobia of meeting people upclose.

I have met the good, the bad and ugly of life and I never judge but when the ones you truly love tend to be the evil you read and jest about and you believe does not exist but God gave you the chance to experience their first hand deeds you tend to get such phobia.

In this same decade I celebrate the President Yara'dua and Johnathan Goodluck regime that gave me the opportunity to handle the voterscard awareness campaign project in five different languages spoken in Nigeria that went lite on TV Stations.

I celebrate Tony Elumelu Foundation for believing in me to found my digital media tech company HamazonACADEMIA and I celebrate these awards and recognition from works/projects it has produced so far

I appreciate people I have met on my way up, down and up. Meeting you all have been awesome, forget not meeting you physically, the fact that we could hear our voices, tend to raise a hand and achieve great results are the most importance of the Witcher's words '' People linked by destiny will always find each other''.

Sending a big hug to all my ladies I have met through my foundation WEP Nigeria and WEP Zimbabwe, it started this decade as my little way of giving back to women and you all have turned to inspire me more.

Some distant friends just turn out to be a real deal and you cant appreciate life enough for them...for only those that know.

For those I raised an olive leaf and got otherwise, you taught me my God is not a silent God for nothing, he sees all and accords to his words.

I give thanks for my family, as quiet or gentle I might think I am , I have kept them through many ordeals of laughter, tears, anger, praises and more however the Lord keeps us moving in love and maturity. I Love you Chipmunks

My fellow colleagues in both filmmaking and Innovative sector, meeting you all have been so inspiring, I look forward to more meets and achievement.

I thank God for my Christmas gift and pray it blossoms beyond measures with his grace.

I thank God for the xmas end of the year I finally went for in this decade, I finally realised we tend to put strains on ourselves for no reason.

Each night I kneel before I sleep, I say to my God, 'I am not perfect however judge me according to the works of my hands, thoughts of my heart to my fellow man and use this to measure me before any man that stands to be a stumbling block in my life'.

And so it shall be my prayer to close and reopen another decade for greater measures.

I look forward to God's ordained words over me in #2020 and also to connecting with great like-minds that believe we can paint #2020 more green with love and achievement.

My creed remains the same 'Never Fail to light a path upon your paths'.
